Curt is a CPA (Retired), a Microsoft
Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and a Certified NetWare Engineer
(CNE) with more than 30 years' experience in accounting and finance,
and 20 years' experience supporting PC-based accounting systems.

After early work with national CPA firms Price
Waterhouse and KPMG Peat Marwick, Curt moved into Controllership
in the Engineering & Construction industry, most notably as Chief
Financial Officer of Jacobs Engineering Group's Baton Rouge operations.
Installation and implementation of mainframe
and mini-computer accounting systems during the early part of Curt's
career gave him unusual insight into computerized accounting systems.
With the advent of IBM's PC and PC networking in the early 1980's,
Curt decided to focus upon PC-based accounting systems, and local
area networks. Such PC-based systems are far less costly than earlier
methods.
The growing presence, availability and speed
of the Internet over the last ten years, together with development
of Virtual Private Networking to permit secure remote access to
client offices and accounting systems, have permitted Curt to support
accounting systems and computer networks remotely, resulting in
reduction of travel time and overhead - and ultimately much lower
costs to our clients.
BETTY TRAHAN
Betty Trahan, MBA, joined Curt Trahan
and Trahan Networks. Inc. in Marketing and Sales in 1989 and is
now President and Director of Marketing.
 Betty
has developed our clientele in the Legal profession, Engineering
and Manufacturing industries. She assists our clients with resources
in the areas of business planning, computer, and Internet technologies.
She provides service and support for client and vendor relationships.
An early advocate of remote support for our clients,
Betty has contributed to the development of our techniques for supporting
our clients from our offices, thereby eliminating travel time and
costs, and ultimately lowering our support fees.
